Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Nurse Practioner for Primary Care and Medical Specialties at Cedar Knolls
Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey’s largest non-profit healthcare networks, is currently seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join Primary Care and Medical Specialties at Cedar Knolls. The Nurse Practitioner will join a well-established and dynamic group of providers in a busy practice that cares for patients of all ages. The practice has an Atlantic Health System lab on site, as well as cardiology, and other specialties. This position is Monday-Friday, with one evening shift per week, and a rotating Saturday. There is a shared call on a rotating schedule.
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages (infants to geriatrics). This includes diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, conducting physical examinations, prescribing medications, ordering, and interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing patient education and counseling.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- New graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
