The Atlantic Health System Administrative Fellowship Program is a one-year, full-time, salaried position designed to provide recent graduates (of masters’ programs) the opportunity to gain practical health care administration experience in a multi-hospital health system. Fellows engage in high-visibility projects at the system level. Past fellows have completed projects in finance, operations, strategic planning, data analytics, business development and performance improvement. During their fellowship at AHS, fellows gain insight by frequently interacting with senior executives, department managers and front-line staff.
Interested applicants may apply through either the National Administrative Fellowship Centralized Application Service (NAFCAS) or directly through AHS with a complete application in ONE PDF sent to email@example.com. Fellowship deadlines are in October for the following year.
- Applicants must have a master’s degree in a relevant health care field (MHSA/MHA/MPH/MPA/MBA) or be enrolled in their last year of the graduate program on schedule to complete the degree before the fellowship commences. This program also includes candidates who have completed the coursework and their graduate programs require a third-year fellowship.
- Relevant health care work experience is strongly preferred.
- Evidence of strong analytical and communication skills is required.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and constructively as a team is required.
