Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Nurse Practitioner for Primary Care at Internal Medicine Faculty Associates in Morristown, NJ
Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey’s largest non-profit healthcare networks, is currently seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join Internal Medicine Faculty Associates (IMFA) of Morristown. The Nurse Practitioner will join a well-established and dynamic group of providers in a busy practice located near Morristown Medical Center. The NP will join 9 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners, along with ample interdisciplinary support staff. IMFA is a certified PCMH and Primary Care First (PCF) practice where we value exploring innovative ways to support and care for our patients and community. This position is Monday-Friday, with one evening shift per week. There is a shared after-hours call on a rotating schedule.
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive primary care services to patients over the age of 18. This includes diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, conducting physical examinations, annual wellness visits, transition care management visits, prescribing medications, ordering, and interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing patient education and counseling. Our practice is dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- 2 years of experience as a practicing NP preferred
- Primary Care/Geriatric experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
