The licensed nurse educator will prepare and maintain curriculum, teaching guides, and educational materials; support unit based clinical onboarding; complete skills inventories, competency reports, and simulation experience reports; maintain data systems to track the number of applicants, job offers, successful onboarding completers, and retention rates by position. Create certification exam courses for acute care clinical certifications and patient care technicians/nursing assistant certifications; maintain accurate and timely attendance records; evaluate student competence based on program objectives; evaluate student learning and clinical experience to measure progress and competency; attend outreach programs in collaboration with human resources; maintain professional qualifications through participation in continuing education programs, in-service training and academic courses; and perform other duties as required.
Required:
1. BSN Required
2. BLS Required Specialty Certification Required
3. Minimum of 3 years of Acute Care?experience in a hospital setting as a Registered Nurse
4. Valid New Jersey Nursing License
Preferred:
1. Master’s Degree Preferred
2. Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
3. Patient, compassionate nature
4. Ability to operate as part of a team, alongside physicians and nurses
5. Proficiency in computer-based data management programs and information systems
