The Laboratory Customer Service Representative performs the following key functions:
- Answers incoming laboratory related phone calls across for the health system.
- Places outbound calls to communicate results that are abnormal, critical or courtesy
- Verifies unclear test requests.
- Completes add-on test requests.
- Resolves customer service issues by researching all source systems and internal contacts
- Other duties assigned
Position can be remote.
Education:
- High School Degree required
- Bachelors Degree preferred
Experience:
- 2-3 years customer service experience in a health care setting, laboratory preferred
