Newton Medical Center, a member of the prestigious Atlantic Health System, is seeking a Lead Patient Access Representative, to provide coverage for evening shifts including every other weekend.
Greet and register patients. Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multi-task with attention to detail. Will register patients in an accurate and timely manner entering demographic and insurance information. Collection of copay, deductible, coinsurance, etc. Flexible and able to support staffing needs of the department. Team player that can work independently and works well with others. Leader in meeting organization and department goals. Role model in all aspects of work.
Experience:
- Prefer a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
- Medical Office, Insurance, and/or Billing experience preferred.
Education:
- Minimum of HS diploma or GED equivalent required.
