Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Nursing Assistant for the Cardiac Unit Gagnon 5 at Morristown Medical Center to work 7PM – 7AM, including every other weekend.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care
- Assisting patients with daily activities such as changing and bathing
- Measuring and recording vital signs
- Administering basic treatments
- Helping to ensure a safe care environment
- Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met
- Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude
Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum Experience:
- Acute Care Experience preferred
- Assist with ADL
- Epic Experience
Qualifications:
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have positive customer service skills
