Atlantic Health System is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant for the Cardiac Unit- Gagnon 5 at Morristown Medical Center to work 7PM – 7:30AM, including every other weekend.
Essential Function/Responsibilities:
- Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care
- Assisting patients with daily activities
- Measuring and recording vital signs
- Administering basic treatments
- Helping to ensure a safe care environment
- Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met
- Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have positive customer service skills
- Provide care to patients with high acuity in a post cardiac surgery unit
Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum Experience:
- At least 1 year experience in Acute Care required
License/Certification:
- BLS certification preferred
- CNA preferred
