Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant for AMG Martinsville Family Practice office in Martinsville, NJ. This is a 40 hour work week.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- The Certified Medical Assistant will perform clinical functions such as managing patient flow, rooming patients, taking vital signs, patient intake, assisting with office procedures.
- Documenting in EMR, re-stocking and cleaning of exam rooms.
- The Certified Medical Assistant will also handle ordering supplies, triaging patient phone calls, and other duties typical of a physician practice.
Qualifications
Education:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
Certifications:
- MA Certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, NAHP or NHA required.
Relevant Experience:
- Post graduate CMA experience preferred. EPIC EMR experience a plus.
