Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Certified Medical Assistant to join the Primary Care department in Rockaway, NJ part of Atlantic Medical Group. Monday through Friday dayshift hours, 1 evening shift per week until 7pm and rotating Saturdays.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- The CMA will perform clinical as well as administrative functions i.e. vital signs, patient intake, room patients, and register and schedule patients in a practice management system, complete prior authorizations, provide patient information.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate physician schedule
Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Education:
- Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
License/Certifications:
- MA certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA required
Relevant Experience:
- EPIC EMR experience a plus
