Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse to work in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Morristown Medical Center from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm.
Responsibilities
- Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
- Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
- Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
Qualifications
Education:
- BSN Preferred
- MSN Preferred
Qualifications/Experience:
- BLS Required
- ACLS Required
- CCRN preferred
- 1-2 years of Acute care, Cardiac Telemetry, ED experience required
Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail. Candidate will assist physician(s) with CATH/PCI, Peripheral, impella, Structural Heart cases (CoreValve, SAPIEN, MitraClip, Watchman, Valvuloplasty, PFO, ASD) and ICD cases. Administers post-recovery care of patients including, arterial and venous sheath removal. Must be able to assess for and manage arterial access site complications. Adheres to on-call policy requirements and responds appropriate to emergency calls per unit policy.
