Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking Per Diem Respiratory Therapists for AtHome Medical located in Morris Plains, NJ. The position will be working the day shift, 8:30 – 5pm, Monday -Friday. No on call associated with this position, possible Saturday shifts.
Responsibilities
- To provide respiratory care to patients as ordered by physician, according to established standards and practices
- Assess patient health problems and needs
- Develop and implement care plans
- Maintain medical records
- Administer care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients
- CPAP/VPAP set ups in the patient home or office
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bi-lingual preferred
- Excellent communication, documentation, customer service, organizational, prioritizing, and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge regarding homecare services and third party reimbursement
Minimum Education:
- Associate Degree required
Education:
- Bachelors Degree preferred
License/Certifications:
- RRT preferred
- State professional license to provide respiratory care/services to patients in New Jersey
- NY and PA licenses preferred
Relevant Experience:
- 1-3 years of acute experience
