Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per-diem Administrative Assistant for the Radiology Unit at Morristown Medical Center. Hours vary, including every other weekend.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
Selected candidate will:
- Manage phones
- Process patient requisitions
- Coordinate patient flow
- Monitor status of patients waiting for completion of procedures
- Communicate with sections within department
- Act as an assistant to attending physicians
- Operate hospital information system – EPIC
- Perform other administrative functions associated with hospital Radiology department & Nursing Units
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Related Experience:
- Patient registration and EPIC a plus.
